JETHRO JACKSON
I have always loved to draw and paint and from an early age I would copy drawings of birds and fish. Most of my childhood was spent on the North Cornish Coast, exploring rock pools and looking under stones.

I found great satisfaction in the study of small fish and crabs and my love of nature transposed into my early drawings. In my most recent body of work I have re-captured these memories, influences and experiences. I wanted to combine all of my emotions and feelings with the ruggedness and ever changing light of the North Cornish Coast.
