
JANET LYNCH
Born in 1938, Janet has spent a lifetime painting and drawing. Educated at St Martin’s School of Art 1956/57 and latter after bringing up her family she returned to study at Hornsey Collage of Art 1981/84. Her earlier work was of a feminist, anti war nature paintings being shown at Coventry Cathedral to compliment a performance of the Benjamin Britain war requiem. Her work now is more allegorical and uses symbolism as a form of expression. She lives and works in Cornwall and New Mexico.
Over the years Janet has show in dozens of Solo and Selected Shows and was a Prize Winner at the White Space Gallery London. She also is an elected full member of the Newlyn Society of Artists 2008.
